What changed on October 22, 2026
Reelify launched with a smaller free tier. From October 22, 2026, the Mac free plan is permanent and includes the full AI clipping workflow:
- Unlimited video imports. Podcasts, interviews, webinars, courses, and streams of any length, including 6-hour recordings as a single file.
- AI clipping on every video. Reelify suggests the strongest moments, each with a time range, a title, and a note on the hook.
- 1080p exports with no watermark. Captions, 9:16 reframing, and dual crop for two speakers.
- No credit card, no trial. Sign up with an email and start clipping.
Why it can be free
Cloud clippers run the AI on their own servers, so every minute you upload costs them compute and bandwidth. That is why their free plans stop at about an hour of video a month and their paid plans are metered.
Reelify runs the AI on the Apple Silicon chip in your Mac. A 6-hour stream costs us the same as a 6-minute clip, so there is no meter to pass on, and no reason to put a mark on your exports.
