What we are building
The same idea, on your PC
The Windows version is being built around the workflow Mac users already have. Here is what the Mac app does today, which is what we are working to bring to Windows:
- Import a long video. Podcasts, interviews, webinars, streams or screen recordings.
- AI finds the strongest moments. Each suggestion comes with timestamps, a title and a short note on why the hook works. A typical long video gives around 10 clips in about 90 seconds on a recent Mac.
- Vertical clips with captions. Reframed for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, with styled captions generated automatically and a timing editor for fine-tuning.
- No uploads and no credit limits. On Mac, the heavy processing happens on your own machine, so your footage stays with you and there is no per-minute meter.
An honest note on timing. Running AI locally is easier on Apple Silicon because every Mac shares the same kind of chip. Windows PCs vary a lot in graphics cards and drivers, so getting the same speed on-device takes more work. We have not finalised Windows system requirements, and we will publish them before launch rather than guess now.

- You need clips on Windows this week. Browser-based cloud clippers work on any PC. The trade-off is that your footage is uploaded and usage is usually metered by credits or minutes. Is Reelify AI available on Windows?
Not yet. Reelify AI currently runs on Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or newer, macOS 15 or later) and iPhone. A Windows version is in development. Join the waitlist to get an email when it launches.
When will Reelify AI for Windows be released?
There is no public release date yet. People on the waitlist will be emailed when the Windows version is ready to download.
Will the Windows version process videos locally like the Mac app?
That is the goal. On Mac, the heavy video processing runs on the device, so footage is not uploaded and there are no credit limits. Running the same AI locally on Windows is harder because PCs vary widely in graphics hardware, so Windows system requirements have not been finalised yet.
Can I use Reelify AI in a web browser on Windows?
No. Reelify AI does not offer browser-based editing. It is a desktop app for Mac and a mobile app for iPhone.
Does Reelify AI run on Intel Macs?
No. The Mac app requires Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 15 or later. Intel Macs are not supported.
How much will Reelify AI for Windows cost?
Windows pricing has not been announced. The Mac app is free to start, and current Mac plans are listed in the pricing section.
